[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Mokpo Office of Education announced on the 30th that it has provided educational materials to 40 local children's centers in Mokpo.
This project was prepared to reduce the educational expenses burden for students using local children's centers, to eliminate educational disparities, and to support the improvement of students' learning abilities during the vacation period.
The educational materials support was provided by receiving applications for necessary materials from students using education and care services at local children's centers.
Kim Gap-su, the Superintendent of Education, said, "I hope the children at the local children's centers feel confident and steadily pursue their dreams," adding, "Despite the difficult situation due to COVID-19, we will continue to show great interest and cooperation for local children's centers to achieve a happy Mokpo education for everyone."
