[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 30th that it will publicly recruit the "5th Safety Management Advisory Group" to help residents create a safer Seo-gu.
The recruitment fields are architecture, electricity, firefighting, and civil engineering, with 40 positions available, and applications will be accepted until the 13th of next month.
Applicants must reside in Gwangju Metropolitan City and include university professors in the relevant fields, professional engineers, senior and advanced technicians, retired public officials with experience in disaster and safety fields, etc.
The Safety Management Advisory Group will carry out safety management plans and field-specific safety measures, conduct safety inspections of facilities to prevent safety accidents in Seo-gu, and provide consultations in related fields upon request, with allowances paid for such services.
Applicants should submit the application form, personal information consent form, and related certificates by visiting the Safety Management Team of the Safety General Division at Seo-gu Office, or by mail or email.
The selection method is based on the review of submitted documents, and the results will be individually notified to the applicants.
In this public recruitment, one young person is allocated to each field of architecture, electricity, firefighting, and civil engineering for youth development. Applicants must be residents of Gwangju Metropolitan City aged between 19 and 39 and meet the eligibility criteria to apply.
A Seo-gu official said, "Since the advisory group performs facility safety inspections and establishes safety measures, field experts with outstanding professionalism and experience are needed," and added, "We hope many people will apply for this public recruitment."
