In response to the resurgence of COVID-19 and the ongoing heatwave with daytime temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius, the handmade Namsan Wang Donkatsu specialty restaurant ‘101beonji Namsan Donkatsu’ announced that it has developed a new “Wang Donkatsu Delivery Packaging” to enhance consumer convenience.
The most notable feature of 101beonji Namsan Donkatsu’s delivery packaging is the donkatsu container. Unlike the traditional method of cutting the donkatsu before delivery, the Wang Donkatsu is delivered in the box in its original shape. The package can be unfolded to allow customers to cut the Wang Donkatsu with disposable knives and forks, enjoying it in the classic Western-style dining manner. Additionally, the packaging is made from paper material to actively address the increasingly important environmental issues while maintaining the highest quality of the product provided to consumers.
The popular menu item, Namsan Wang Donkatsu, is known for its large size and crispy texture. However, when cut and packed in plastic containers for delivery, the crispiness tends to diminish and the donkatsu can mix with other foods. To resolve these issues, the new ‘Wang Donkatsu Delivery Packaging’ was introduced to allow customers to enjoy the same visual appeal, texture, and taste as the in-store dish even during delivery.
101beonji Namsan Donkatsu stated, “With the current trend of delivery services, inquiries from prospective entrepreneurs interested in delivery and startups are coming in nationwide,” and added, “We will thoroughly manage and strive to provide menu items with quality and taste comparable to our in-store offerings.”
