[Breaking] Vaccination Drive for Homeless and Undocumented Foreigners... Janssen or mRNA Vaccines to be Administered

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] The COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced the 'COVID-19 Vaccination Implementation Plan for August-September' on the 30th.

This plan includes efforts to vaccinate homeless people whose resident registration numbers have been deleted and unregistered foreigners who cannot make reservations during the general public's pre-booking due to no entry history, in order to reduce the risk of infection or transmission through daily life.

Vaccinations for these groups will be conducted through on-site visits to public health centers and will be administered using the Janssen or mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) vaccines. Detailed information will be provided through facilities frequently visited by the target groups.
