Woori Card Obtains Safety and Health Management System Certification 'ISO 45001'

Recognized for Improving Work Environment through Installation of In-Office Air Purifiers and Operation of Counseling Programs

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 30th that it has obtained the 'ISO 45001' certification, an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, from the Korea Productivity Center Certification Institute.

The acquisition of this certification is the result of prioritizing the safety and health of employees as the highest value in management. The company was recognized for continuously improving the working environment, such as installing air purifiers in the office to prevent COVID-19 and operating expert counseling programs to promote mental health.

A Woori Card official said, "In March of this year, we obtained the 'ISO 14001' certification for environmental management systems, verifying our excellence in environmental management," adding, "We will continue to promote systematic safety management and strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to practice labor respect."

ISO 45001 is a certification system that verifies the globalization of companies and the creation of reliable working environments. It is an international standard for occupational health and safety management that defines various risk factors and requirements that may occur in workplaces.
