According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 29th, the nationwide morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures between 30 and 36 degrees Celsius. Tropical nights will occur as nighttime low temperatures exceed 25 degrees Celsius, mainly in large cities, the west coast, the south coast, and Jeju. In the afternoon, localized showers accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected in southern Yeongseo of Gangwon, the mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk. Expected precipitation is 5 to 40 mm. Jeju will also receive 10 to 40 mm of rain.
Until 6 p.m., swells will flow into the east coast, causing high waves to strongly rush onto sandy beaches or overflow rocky shores. Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2 meters in the western sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the southern and eastern sea nearshore. Offshore wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the west sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the south sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the east sea.
