Call for Citizen Ideas on the Theme 'New Deal, Drawing the Future of Jeonju'

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City is soliciting citizen ideas under the theme "New Deal, Drawing the Future of Jeonju (GREEN+DigitAl newdeal)" until the 9th of next month.

This is to promote New Deal projects that are future growth engines and suited to regional characteristics, such as metaverse, carbon neutrality, and youth policies, together with citizens in line with the government's "Korean New Deal 2.0" promotion plan.

The recruitment fields are △ Metaverse and related projects (Digital New Deal) △ Carbon neutrality related projects (Green New Deal) △ Youth policy related projects (Human New Deal), totaling three categories.

Eligibility is for citizens residing in Jeonju as of the announcement date (July 26) and university students (including those on leave) attending schools in the Jeonbuk area.

Applicants can download the application form and project description from the Jeonju City website, fill them out, and submit by email or apply by mail to the Jeonju City New Deal Promotion Team.

Applications can also be submitted through the proposal section on the Jeonju City website.

Jeonju City will evaluate the submitted ideas based on their relevance to the Korean New Deal, creativity, feasibility, and effectiveness, then select one Excellence Award winner, one Encouragement Award winner, and two Effort Award winners, and provide the recipients with Onnuri gift certificates.
