A Total of 720 Million Won... Up to 1.2 Million Won Per Person
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County will provide welfare points worth 720 million KRW to workers in the local automobile manufacturing industry.
On the 29th, Wanju County announced that, as part of the 'Employment Stability Preemptive Response Package' support project in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Jeollabuk-do, it will provide welfare points that workers can directly use.
The recipients are workers aged 18 to 60 who reside in Wanju County and work for automobile, trailer, and other transportation equipment manufacturing companies with 25 or fewer employees.
Each individual can receive up to 1.2 million KRW in welfare points.
The application period is from August 2 to August 31 until 6 p.m., and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
Applicants must submit the application form, certificate of employment, and other required documents online through the Jeonbuk Employment Stability Project Group website.
However, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in-person submissions are not allowed.
After document screening and selection, Wanju County plans to provide welfare points in four installments of 300,000 KRW each starting from September this year, credited to the recipients' local love card accounts.
