[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Lotte Food Pasteur announced on the 29th that it will release an online advertisement for 'Withmom Jewang.' 'Withmom Jewang' is a baby food fortified with abundant Bifidobacterium longum probiotics in the healthy intestines of naturally delivered newborns, tailored to the changing childbirth environment.
The advertisement, released through digital channels such as YouTube, emphasized the smart choice of pregnant women by highlighting the features of Withmom Jewang. Along with the ad airing, recruitment for the Withmom Jewang experience group will continue until the 31st of next month. To apply for the experience group, one must sign up as a member on Lotte Food Mall. Applicants enter the baby's birth (expected) date, write a support message and reason for applying for Withmom Jewang, select the currently used infant product, choose the desired product from the Withmom Jewang series, and participate in the experience group event promotion. Customers will receive the Withmom 100-day Jewang or the Withmom Jewang stage 2 or 3 product they selected.
Pasteur plans to actively expand sales of Withmom Jewang through this advertisement and experience group promotion. In the formula milk market shrinking due to declining birth rates, Withmom Jewang has shown rapid growth by doubling quarterly sales and is leading the overall positive growth of Pasteur formula milk.
Building on this success, in January of this year, following the launch of 'Withmom 100-day Jewang' in September last year, Pasteur also released 'Withmom Sanyang 100-day Jewang' and expanded the Withmom Jewang series to cover all age ranges (from birth up to 36 months) in June.
Meanwhile, according to data from the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service and Statistics Korea, as of 2019, the rate of cesarean deliveries reached 50.5%, surpassing natural births for the first time.
