[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Unification announced on the 28th at around 9 a.m. that both South and North Korea successfully conducted an initial call through the Inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office.
On the 27th, the 68th anniversary of the Armistice Agreement, the two Koreas restored the severed communication network and agreed to hold calls daily at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Accordingly, South and North Korea will continue their call today at 5 p.m. as well.
