[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Paradise Hotel Busan's restaurant 'Nyx Grill & Wine' announced on the 28th that it has received 2 Glasses from the world-renowned wine magazine Wine Spectator for two consecutive years.
Wine Spectator annually evaluates the variety and quantity of wines held by restaurants worldwide, the dishes served alongside, and the harmony of the wine list, awarding honors accordingly. The awards are categorized into 'Award of Excellence,' 'Best of Award of Excellence,' and 'Grand Award' based on the rating.
Nyx received the 'Best of Award of Excellence,' corresponding to 2 Glasses, for the second consecutive year following last year. The 2 Glasses rating is given to restaurants that offer more than 300 types of wines, providing a deeper and broader selection with various origins and vintages.
Under the direction of Master Chef Daniel Hwang, Nyx is a gourmet space that modernly reinterprets a variety of Italian, French, and American-style dishes. Guests can enjoy 'Vino Paradise' and pairing wines carefully selected by professional sommeliers. The venue features a modern lounge-style wine bar, an open grill, and an ocean view of Haeundae.
To celebrate Nyx's recent award, Paradise Hotel Busan is running a promotion until September 30. Four wines selected in Wine Spectator's Top 100, including Decon Merlot and La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904, along with six summer special wines, are offered at a 30% discount. Natural wines, which are gaining global popularity by minimizing additives, are also available in limited quantities at special prices. Customers who use Nyx's dinner course can enjoy three sommelier-recommended pairing wines?red, white, and dessert?for 55,000 KRW.
