According to major crackdown results, on the 25th, a karaoke room in Changwon was caught operating past the administrative order restricting operations until 10 PM, remaining open past 11 PM.
At that time, 13 foreigners in their 20s to 30s were gathered at the karaoke room holding a birthday party for one of their group. They were fined, and the business owner is expected to be booked for violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
On the 23rd, a Hold'em pub in Changwon was inspected after admitting 44 customers despite the quarantine guidelines allowing a maximum of 35 people.
On the 24th, a restaurant owner in Yangsan who violated operating hour restrictions and six foreign customers who breached the ban on gatherings of five or more people were caught during an inspection.
A police official stated, "We will continue intelligence gathering and crackdown activities on illegal operations in cooperation with local governments, the agencies responsible for quarantine."
