The Riverside Citizens' Park Children's Water Playground, which opened on the 23rd, was scheduled to operate until August 22, but Andong City explained that operations will be suspended from the 27th to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The suspension period will last until August 8.
Andong City had rented an air bounce and a modular swimming pool in addition to the existing swimming pool to allow various water play activities. Currently, about 2,500 people have made reservations.
An official from Andong City said, "Although it is regrettable to suspend the operation of the water playground, we ask for your understanding regarding the decision to suspend it considering the trend of COVID-19 spread," and added, "We will strive to reopen once the COVID-19 situation eases."
