[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] KCC Glass's interior specialty brand HomeCC is renewing its 'Sensstone' series in line with the trend of upscale interior design and is actively strengthening its position in the interior stone market, including engineered stone and artificial marble.

The newly introduced 'Sensstone Quartz' in this renewal is an engineered stone primarily made from natural quartz. It contains over 90% high-quality natural quartz, realistically reproducing the texture and color of natural stone while enhancing strength and durability as a premium finishing material.

In particular, Sensstone Quartz has a very low moisture absorption rate, making it resistant to stains from food and strong against bacterial growth, making it ideal for hygienic management in kitchen walls, countertops, bathrooms, and more.

With this renewal, 10 new designs including the currently popular wave-shaped vein patterns have been added, allowing a total of 50 diverse Sensstone Quartz designs to be selected. Representative new designs include △'Calacatta Black,' which faithfully reproduces the design of the finest Italian natural marble △'Light Wave,' which creates a subtle luxury with a white tone △'Stone Island,' which harmonizes well with various finishes in gray tones.

The ceramic tile 'Sensstone Ultra' has also been renewed. Sensstone Ultra, entirely imported from Italy, is a premium finishing material born from KCC Glass's excellent quality control and the meticulous design of Italian artisans. It faithfully reproduces the feel of real marble and excels not only in heat resistance and durability but also in stain resistance and UV resistance, making it applicable anywhere indoors or outdoors, including interior walls, floors, kitchens, art walls, and exterior walls.

Especially, unlike typical ceramic tiles, Sensstone Ultra is available in large sizes such as 1600x3200mm, giving a grand impression during installation, and its minimal seams allow for a clean finish. A total of 16 Sensstone Ultra designs have been newly prepared through this renewal.

Sensstone Quartz and Sensstone Ultra are being consecutively selected for high-end apartment reconstruction sites in the Gangnam area based on their sophisticated design and high quality.

Additionally, the artificial marble 'Sensstone Plus,' which offers practicality and hygiene at a reasonable price, has also been renewed, expanding consumer choices. Sensstone Plus can be applied to various spaces including kitchens and bathrooms, and with 5 new designs added in this renewal, a total of 66 designs are now available.

A HomeCC representative said, "With the renewal, a wide range of colors and designs have been significantly added, enabling luxurious and diverse space expressions using the Sensstone series," and added, "HomeCC will continue to strengthen its design competitiveness and quality while actively responding to rapidly changing trends to continuously reinforce its position in the interior stone market."
