[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Winia Dimchae announced on the 27th that its vaccine storage blood freezer (MediBox), developed by the company and manufactured by Daeyu Plus, has completed product registration on the Public Procurement Service's Nara Market and will officially begin domestic sales.
Winia Dimchae's vaccine storage blood freezer received qualification approval in terms of product quality, performance, efficiency, and price through product specifications and test reports, and completed product registration on the Public Procurement Service's Nara Market on the 22nd.
With this registration at the Public Procurement Service, Winia Dimchae plans to discover specialized medical device sales outlets and expand sales targeting advanced medical centers and large national and public hospitals. Additionally, the company will make every effort to supply vaccine storage blood freezers to 256 health centers nationwide, contributing to the formation of small-scale cold chains. Regarding sales in the private sector such as small and medium-sized private hospitals, Winia Dimchae intends to expand demand through consultations with specialized medical device distributors.
Winia Dimchae is also pursuing overseas market expansion for this product. It completed exports to the United States in June and signed a supply contract with a Philippine company in July. Furthermore, Winia Dimchae's home appliance affiliate, Winia Electronics, plans to sell in countries where it has overseas sales subsidiaries, including Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Russia.
In addition, together with a domestic company exporting special-purpose vehicles to Sri Lanka, Winia Dimchae is conducting a cold chain construction project that equips vaccine storage blood freezers in hospital vehicles and special vehicles to safely transport vaccines from airports to urban areas. Starting with Sri Lanka, the company is also considering expansion into Thailand and Cambodia in collaboration with this company.
Winia's vaccine storage blood freezer is a compact model with a capacity of 92 liters and a weight of 65 kg, making it easy to transport. The company explained that it has a built-in menu allowing selection of different storage temperatures for each vaccine, enabling optimal temperature settings without separate training.
