[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 27th that it has supported the 9th Army Division with 12,000 beverages. This beverage support was prepared as part of Seven Eleven's Nara Sarang (Love for the Country) campaign. Amid the ongoing heatwave, honey yuzu and honey lemon drinks were prepared to express gratitude for the dedication of soldiers protecting the nation.
Seven Eleven's Nara Sarang campaign is a signature social contribution activity that has continued for eight years since 2014. It has mainly focused on providing goods to improve the welfare of military personnel. The campaign has carried out more than 40 support activities so far, including delivering consolation goods to the Baengnyeongdo Marine Corps, sponsoring naval training cruises, and establishing washing machines and mini cafes for the 6th Division. In addition to goods support, welfare policies such as scholarships for descendants of UN veterans and entrepreneurship support for discharged soldiers have also been established.
A Seven Eleven official said, "This beverage support is to cheer on and express gratitude to the soldiers who dedicate themselves to the country despite the heatwave," adding, "Support for military personnel is a representative Nara Sarang activity of Seven Eleven, and we will continue various activities to support the armed forces in the future."
