20 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed for Two Consecutive Days in Goyang

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] In Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, the number of additional COVID-19 confirmed cases remained in the 20s for two consecutive days.

According to the Goyang City health authorities on the 26th, a total of 25 people tested positive for COVID-19, including 4 people on the evening of the 25th and 21 people as of 4 p.m. on the same day.

The causes of infection were contact with confirmed cases from other regions (5 people), family transmission (8 people), contact with acquaintances (3 people), and 9 others whose causes are under investigation.

By residence, there were 11 cases in Deogyang-gu, 6 in Ilsandong-gu, 6 in Ilsanseo-gu, and 2 from other regions.

Previously, as of 4 p.m. on the 25th, 24 people were confirmed positive, including those who had contact with confirmed cases from other regions.

As a result, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Goyang City reached 4,380, with 4,246 confirmed cases among Goyang citizens (4,136 domestic infections and 110 overseas infections).
