Emart24 Launches 'Choi's Golden Ale' Named After Choi Jeong and Choo Shin-soo

Baseball Craft Beer 3-Item Lineup Complete

[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Convenience store Emart24 announced on the 27th that following the release of the craft beers 'SSG Landers Lager' and 'Superstars Pale Ale,' inspired by the baseball team SSG Landers, on the 22nd, it will introduce 'Choi's Beer Golden Ale' on the 29th.

The name Choi's Beer Golden Ale is derived from a beloved nickname created by fans by combining one character from the names of SSG Landers players Choi Jeong, Choo Shin-soo, Ro-mak, and Choi Joo-hwan. It is a 500ml canned beer with an alcohol content of 4.9%, characterized by a deep citrus aroma and smooth throat feel.

Production is handled by KBC, which produces various craft beers based on the brewing technology of OB Beer Brewing Technology Research Institute.

Choi's Beer Golden Ale, like the previously released baseball beers, features different designs on each side of the can. One side visualizes the dynamic images of the SSG Landers baseball team players, while the other side displays the Choi's Beer logo. Since the beer embodies a nickname given by fans, the top of the can includes the phrase "Coolly knock it back," evoking the image of a home run.

To commemorate the release of the three baseball beers, Emart24 will sell four cans of these beers for 10,000 won until the end of next month, and during the Tokyo Olympics period from the 1st to the 8th of next month, four cans will be sold for 9,000 won.
