[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Pre-registration for COVID-19 vaccination for repeat test-takers, including graduates preparing for the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), will begin on the 28th.
On the 26th, the Ministry of Education announced that from 8 PM on the 28th until midnight on the 30th, reservations for vaccination for college entrance exam candidates will be accepted through the vaccination pre-registration website.
Excluding current high school seniors, 89.5% of the 109,000 graduates who took the September mock exam agreed to receive the vaccine.
The first dose schedule for repeat test-takers is from August 10 to 14, and the second dose is from September 7 to 11.
Approximately 98,000 college entrance exam candidates are eligible for vaccination. This number excludes out-of-school youth.
About 1,800 people, including university staff in charge of college entrance affairs and education office employees, are also included in the priority vaccination group.
The Ministry of Education stated, "Considering the September mock exam and early admission schedules, the vaccination schedule was finalized in consultation with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency to ensure no disruption to college entrance preparations."
