The global programming education brand ‘Meotjaeng-i Saja Cheoreom’ (CEO Lee Doo-hee) is partnering with startup accelerator FuturePlay to launch a startup cultivation program called ‘STARTUP SCHOOL.’
STARTUP SCHOOL is an incubating program that goes beyond the coding education for idea realization that Meotjaeng-i Saja Cheoreom has been conducting, enabling participants to advance into actual business. This 12-week program not only offers coding education where participants can create their own services but also teaches the essential elements needed to start a startup.
FuturePlay will conduct business sessions necessary for the growth of early-stage startups in this program, supporting the connection of ideas to actual startups.
The specific program sessions are divided into four parts: ▲ ‘Programming Session,’ where participants learn coding to directly implement business items ▲ ‘Business Session,’ covering business plan writing and startup investment attraction strategies ▲ ‘Design Session,’ which builds idea flow and structure and applies visual design elements ▲ ‘Marketing Session,’ where participants learn and practice digital advertising for market validation.
The program selects applicants with the most business-appropriate ideas for training. After selection, participants form teams and complete the entire course. At the end of the 12 weeks, a DemoDay will be held to select outstanding services and startup teams. For excellent teams deemed to have potential in actual business, a separate evaluation will be conducted to discuss investment possibilities.
Lee Doo-hee, CEO of Meotjaeng-i Saja Cheoreom, stated, “STARTUP SCHOOL is a startup cultivation program that connects the education Meotjaeng-i Saja Cheoreom has been providing to actual startup founding.” He added, “Since we are working with FuturePlay, which has already collaborated with over 100 startups in Korea, we will do our best to create a program where participants can thoroughly learn everything about startup founding.”
Applications for STARTUP SCHOOL are open from July 26 to August 19 on the Meotjaeng-i Saja Cheoreom K-digital training website. Only those eligible for the National Learning Card (Naeil Baeum Card) can apply, and the course is free of charge.
