Hana Bank: "Prepare for Retirement and Relax at Once with 'Hana IRP'"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 26th that it will hold the event "A Rest for You! Together with Hana IRP!" targeting customers with individual IRP accounts, a representative tax deduction product, in celebration of the summer vacation season.

This event, which runs until the 27th of next month, will provide a chance for 10 customers to win a 'Lotte Hotel Integrated Accommodation Voucher' worth approximately 1 million KRW through a draw. Eligible customers include those who make an additional deposit of 10 million KRW or more into their individual IRP accounts or transfer contracts, and those who have deposited severance pay of 20 million KRW or more and completed product management.

Additionally, during the event period, customers who newly subscribe to an individual IRP with a deposit of 100,000 KRW or more and register automatic transfers of 100,000 KRW or more for over one year will receive up to 5,000 Hana Money per person, which can be used like cash, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 1,000 customers weekly.

The individual IRP is a representative tax-saving product that allows tax deductions while preparing for retirement. If you pay 7 million KRW annually, you can receive a tax deduction benefit of up to 1,155,000 KRW. For customers aged 50 or older, the tax deduction limit is expanded to 9 million KRW, allowing for a maximum annual tax deduction benefit of 1,485,000 KRW.

In particular, starting this year, when ISA (Individual Savings Account) maturity funds are deposited into an individual IRP, the pension account payment amount (up to 7 million KRW annually) is recognized. Moreover, within a limit of 3 million KRW, up to 10% of the ISA conversion amount is also recognized within the total tax deduction payment limit, providing additional tax-saving benefits.
