Hanwha Construction to Launch 'Forena Suwon Woncheon' Sales in August... "Excellent Proximity to Workplaces"

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Hanwha Construction announced on the 26th that it will launch sales of ‘Hanwha Forena Suwon Woncheon’ in Woncheon-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do in August.

Forena Suwon Woncheon will be developed as a complex consisting of 2 buildings, ranging from 2 basement floors to 20 above-ground floors, with a total of 157 households sized between 68 and 84㎡ (exclusive area). The entire supply consists of small to medium-sized units preferred by buyers: △68㎡ with 117 households △84㎡ with 40 households.

Forena Suwon Woncheon is located in an optimal position that embraces Samsung Digital City and Yeongheung Park, allowing residents to enjoy the double living zones of Gwanggyo and Yeongtong.

Forena Suwon Woncheon is adjacent to Samsung-ro and offers excellent proximity to workplaces, allowing residents to commute on foot to Samsung Digital City. Samsung Digital City is a large-scale industrial complex with a total area of approximately 1.72 million square meters. About 35,000 global talents from around 56 countries work there.

In front of the complex lies Yeongheung Park, which is about 70 times the size of a soccer field (approximately 500,000㎡), allowing residents to enjoy refreshing forest bathing right at their doorstep. Yeongheung Park will feature a large arboretum, ecological forest, a 1.5 km circular walking trail, and sports facilities, and is expected to become an eco-friendly landmark park representing Suwon in the future.

Additionally, being part of the double living zones of Gwanggyo and Yeongtong, residents can immediately enjoy convenient living infrastructure such as lifestyle, transportation, and education.

About 3 km in a straight line from Forena Suwon Woncheon is the administrative and legal town including Gyeonggi Convergence Town in Gwanggyo New Town, which is 99% complete in development. When completed in 2023, Gyeonggi Convergence Town is expected to have about 6,000 employees from major institutions and a floating population of approximately 200,000.

Within Gwanggyo New Town, facilities such as Suwon Convention Center, Suwon High Court, and Prosecutor’s Office are already established, and various government offices including the new Gyeonggi Provincial Government building (scheduled for completion in September 2021), Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, and Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education are expected to move in. Residents can also access various lifestyle convenience facilities in Gwanggyo, including Galleria Department Store Gwanggyo Branch, Lotte Outlet Gwanggyo Branch, and Woncheon Lake.

Near the complex, large marts such as Homeplus Woncheon Branch and Lotte Mart Yeongtong Branch are conveniently located, and various living infrastructures such as Ajou University Hospital and Suwon Sports and Culture Center are also available.

Forena Suwon Woncheon offers access to various wide-area transportation networks, and benefits from new transportation network developments are anticipated.

Key local roads such as Samsung-ro, Jungbu-daero, Maeyoung-ro, and Yeongtong-ro surround the complex. Using Suwon Singal IC and Heungdeok IC, access to Gyeongbu Expressway and Yongin-Seoul Expressway is convenient. The planned establishment of Woncheon Station on the Indeokwon-Dongtan double-track railway (scheduled for 2026) is underway, which is expected to further improve transportation convenience.

The educational environment is also notable. Wonil Elementary School is within walking distance of the complex. Various school districts such as Wonil Middle School, Maewon High School, and Cheongmyeong High School are formed around the complex, and it is adjacent to the Yeongtong district academy area, providing an excellent educational environment.

The model house for Forena Suwon Woncheon is scheduled to open online as a cyber open house to comply with the government’s social distancing policies and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
