[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on the 26th that it received the 'Global Excellent Supplier Award' from Bosch, the world's largest automotive parts manufacturer.
Bosch awards this prize to outstanding suppliers based on a comprehensive evaluation of quality, technology, and sustainability among suppliers worldwide. The award is given every two years, and this year, 46 companies from 16 countries were selected out of 23,000 companies. A Samsung Electro-Mechanics official explained, "We were the only domestic company selected."
Samsung Electro-Mechanics develops and manufactures various automotive MLCCs, including those for braking systems (ABS), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and powertrain MLCCs.
