[Asia Economy Reporter Joeslgina] Samsung Electronics is expected to release a dedicated 'Note Pack Case' that can store the new foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold3 along with the 'S Pen Fold Edition'.
On the 25th (local time), IT specialist media PhoneArena reported this citing mobile expert and IT tipster Ishan Agarwal.
Ishan Agarwal stated on his Twitter the day before, "The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 has an S Pen Fold Edition," and "a Note Pack that can be stored together with the smartphone will also be released." He added that typical silicone, leather & aramid back cases will also be available.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to support the S Pen for the first time among Samsung foldables. Since there is no suitable slot inside the foldable smartphone to store the S Pen, it is interpreted that a separate Note Pack case will be released.
Previously overseas, the price of the S Pen Fold Edition was estimated to be around 50 pounds. PhoneArena mentioned, "In the case of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the dedicated S Pen was sold separately for $40."
The Galaxy Z Fold3 will be unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on the 11th of next month. At this event, the Galaxy Z Flip3, which will debut together, is expected to release silicone and transparent cases with ring and strap options.
