GH, Gyeonggi-do Takes Initiative to Revitalize 'Baedal Teukgeup' Delivery Service

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) recently signed a non-face-to-face business agreement with Gyeonggi Province Corporation to expand the use of Gyeonggi Province's public delivery app, 'Baedal Teukgeup'.

Gyeonggi Province's 'Baedal Teukgeup' is a service launched in December last year with the goal of creating a win-win platform for small business owners and consumers. It has made a fresh impact in the delivery app market with significantly lower brokerage fees compared to private delivery apps such as Baedal Minjok, and discount benefits linked to local currency.

According to this agreement, the two organizations agreed to join forces for regional mutual development and actively cooperate to revitalize Baedal Teukgeup.

GH will utilize 'Baedal Teukgeup' coupons from Gyeonggi Province's public delivery app for its own encouragement and reward systems as part of the agreement.

Lee Heon-wook, president of GH, stated, "Through this agreement, we expect Baedal Teukgeup to be revitalized by not only helping small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic but also encouraging other public institutions and private companies to actively use the service."
