[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Internet-only bank K Bank operates its second Euljiro office building for developers. Unlike typical companies, this appears to be a measure to resolve customer complaints immediately upon receipt in relation to customer service.
According to the banking sector on the 25th, K Bank moved from Gwanghwamun to the new Euljiro office building in early February, and after five months, rented the 8th floor of the Sampung Nexus building next to the headquarters to open the second office.
At the second office, three teams related to customer service that previously worked at the old headquarters, Chungjeong Tower, along with the IT development cooperation department, are scheduled to relocate and work there. The second office has a workspace with 220 seats, and the working environment has been greatly improved by installing beds and massage chairs so that employees can focus on development tasks. The lounge, used as a caf? and meeting space within the building, features an unmanned 'robot coffee' machine and unmanned snack vending machines. K Bank plans to establish a smart office space befitting an 'untact bank.'
Currently, 180 employees work there, mainly handling credit management and IT development tasks, while also managing customer complaints and bank IT development work.
