[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Outdoor brand Black Yak launched the 'Halo' sandals on the 25th, designed for versatile wear during summer outdoor activities ranging from valley trekking to water sports.
The core feature of the Halo is its midsole, which incorporates both cushioning and drainage holes. The sole's drainage structure allows water to easily escape while providing comfortable wear.
Additionally, unlike conventional sandals, the Halo includes a TOE-CAP to protect toes in rocky and stony valleys.
The product is available in two fitting adjustment types: 'Halo D' and 'Halo S'. The 'Halo D' features a Boa Fit dial system for precise fitting tailored to the wearer's foot. The 'Halo S' uses a Kevlar quick lace system for easy and fast tightening. They are priced at 169,000 KRW and 149,000 KRW, respectively.
Meanwhile, Black Yak is running a promotional event in collaboration with leisure activity platform Frip, offering 'Halo S' sandals in connection with valley trekking and rafting activities.
