MG Sonhae Insurance Conducts Summer Health Food Donation for Double Celebration

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] MG Insurance announced on the 22nd that it will donate summer health food to low-income families with disabilities in celebration of Jungbok.

From the 21st to the 23rd, MG Insurance will deliver summer health food kits to 177 households of homebound disabled individuals in the Gwanak-gu district of Seoul through the Gwanak-gu Disabled Welfare Center using a non-face-to-face method.

The health food kits are composed of representative summer health foods such as Samgyetang and Galbitang, along with health supplements, all packed in ice boxes. Additionally, to provide practical help, items requested in advance by the recipients, such as cold noodles, gim (seaweed), and snacks, were also ordered and delivered together.

An MG Insurance official stated, "We organized this sharing event to support neighbors exhausted by the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the unusual heatwave," adding, "We will continue various activities to promote the health and happiness of marginalized neighbors."
