Tmon-Women Startup Association Sign MOU to Support Digital Transformation of Small Businesses

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] TMON announced on the 22nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Women Startup Association to support small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to collaborate with public institutions and local governments to assist startups, prospective entrepreneurs, small business owners, and SMEs in their digital transformation by providing ▲ online shopping seller education ▲ market access support ▲ live commerce, among other initiatives.

Based on its experience and strengths in operating online platforms, TMON will manage educational curricula necessary for digital transformation. It will also be responsible for supporting sales and marketing for small business owners through special promotions using its online and live commerce platforms.

Park Sung-ho, Head of Partnership Business at TMON, stated, "We will strive to create an environment where more partners can coexist and succeed together with TMON’s platform."

The two organizations plan to begin activities for startups aiming to enter online shopping with a live commerce education session held on the 26th at the Gurae Youth Support Center in Gyeonggi Province, followed by the operation of specialized educational curricula.

Meanwhile, the Korea Women Startup Association was established to support the social advancement and market access of women-led startups based on experience and know-how accumulated in the startup field. It is seeking breakthroughs to support startups that have been constrained due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
