Na Hoon-a "Corona, let's see who wins, you or me"
Shin Dae-cheol "Juniors are canceling concerts with dozens of attendees"
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Despite the '4th wave' of COVID-19, singer Na Hoon-a, who sparked controversy by going ahead with a concert in Daegu, has decided to postpone his 4,000-seat concert scheduled at BEXCO in Busan.
Yes24, the ticketing platform for Na Hoon-a's concert, announced on the 21st, "The Na Hoon-a AGAIN Tess-hyung - Busan performance, originally scheduled to be held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, Hall 1 from the 23rd to the 25th, will be postponed to next month from the 20th to the 22nd." They added, "Due to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' announcement banning temporary performances outside the metropolitan area until the 1st of next month, it is impossible to proceed with the current schedule, so the performance has been inevitably postponed."
Earlier, Na Hoon-a expressed his determination to proceed with the concert during the event held in Daegu from the 16th to the 18th, saying, "COVID-19, let's see who wins, you or me."

Meanwhile, Shin Dae-chul, guitarist of the band Sinawe, publicly criticized Na Hoon-a.
On his Facebook post on the 21st, he wrote, "I really envy senior Na Hoon-a. Juniors are canceling performances with only a few dozen attendees," and asked, "As the king of singers, don't you need the virtue of restraint at least once?"
He then quoted the philosopher Socrates, who inspired Na Hoon-a's recent new song 'Tess-hyung,' saying, "Socrates said, 'Be humble when young, gentle in youth, just in adulthood, and cautious in old age,'" criticizing Na Hoon-a's determination to proceed with the concert.
He sharply criticized Na Hoon-a, who was scheduled to hold six large-scale concerts with 4,000 seats twice a day in Busan, saying he was stubbornly ignoring the current situation.
Meanwhile, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced in a regular briefing that as of midnight on the 21st, with the number of new COVID-19 cases reaching a record high of 1,784 and the spread intensifying, "From midnight on the 22nd until the 1st of next month, all indoor and outdoor performances held outside registered performance venues in non-metropolitan areas will be prohibited." This appears to be a strengthened quarantine measure in response to concerns about infection spread due to large-scale concerts scheduled in Busan and other areas during the 4th wave of COVID-19.
