[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Hyundai Steel announced on the 21st that it has decided to temporarily halt production at its Incheon plant as a preventive measure against the spread following COVID-19 infections among its employees.
The production stoppage is scheduled to last until 6 a.m. on the 23rd.
The company stated, "As a preventive measure against the increase in COVID-19 cases among employees, we will temporarily suspend operations and conduct comprehensive testing for all employees."
