JAYJUN Cosmetic Expands Offline Channels with Beauty Select Shop 'Laco' Opening at Lotte Department Store

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Jayjun Cosmetic's premium beauty select shop ‘LACO (Lacosmetique)’ is opening a store in Lotte Department Store. Consumers will be able to meet and directly test products personally recommended by beauty creators all in one place, strengthening consumer engagement.


Jayjun Cosmetic announced on the 21st that the premium beauty select shop ‘LACO’ will open in Lotte Department Store Myeongdong Young Plaza.


‘LACO’ is a beauty content select store targeting the MZ generation (born between 1980 and 2000) and is operated primarily by Lotte Department Store. It is located in the Young Plaza of the main Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong. Numerous famous domestic and international cosmetic brands are housed there, and it is an experiential store designed to gather the latest trend products from well-known domestic and international cosmetic brands recommended by beauty creators, allowing customers to test them directly.


A Jayjun official explained, “We decided to open in Lotte Department Store because LACO is a trendy shopping space that meets the needs of the MZ generation ranging from teenagers to early 30s, which aligns with Jayjun’s target customer base and fits the premium brand image.”


Jayjun plans to sell a total of 29 products at ‘LACO’, including skincare products, signature mask packs, and eye gel patches. They will showcase 15 products from the Okra Phyto Mucin line launched in the first half of this year, 8 of Jayjun’s signature mask packs such as the Black Water Glow Mask and Intensive Shining Mask, and 6 types of eye gel patches that have received positive responses in the Middle East and overseas. Additionally, Jayjun will hold online and offline promotions until the 31st to commemorate the opening of the ‘LACO’ store.


A Jayjun Cosmetic official said, “By opening in LACO located in the easily accessible Myeongdong Lotte Young Plaza, many consumers will be able to experience and purchase Jayjun’s representative products,” adding, “We will expand offline channels to broaden consumer contact points and diversify distribution channels.”
