Dongjak-gu Expands Operation of Shared Service Integrated Platform 'Gongyunuri'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is expanding the operation of the integrated platform for public open resource sharing service, "Gongyunu-ri."

Gongyunu-ri is a portal site where residents can easily and conveniently search for and reserve public open resources such as spaces and items they need for sharing.

Recently, to enhance residents' convenience, the district relocated surplus tools from some tool rental centers to areas with shortages to increase utilization, updated about 436 public open resource statuses on the Gongyunu-ri site, and added 184 rental items to the list.

The newly added items include corded and cordless drills, drill bit sets, which have high usage rates among residents, as well as laser distance meters, smart air pumps, and electricity usage meters.

In particular, to ensure residents' safe daily quarantine, disinfection sprayers have been additionally prepared for free rental to residents at each neighborhood office.

To rent items, users must sign up on the Gongyunu-ri portal site, make a reservation, and after receiving an approval message, visit the reservation location to pick up the item. Currently, due to the COVID-19 situation, venue rental applications are not accepted.

Meanwhile, the district is also expanding the operation of the Our Neighborhood Tool Rental Centers.

Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and tool rentals are available until 8 p.m. with prior reservation. Residents wishing to rent tools can visit the neighborhood office where the desired tools are located with their ID card or apply through the Gongyunu-ri site.

For more details, inquiries can be made to the Autonomous Administration Division.

Juseon Lee, head of the Autonomous Administration Division, said, "We aim to enhance residents' convenience by supporting easy and convenient use of items necessary for daily life but not frequently used," adding, "We will continue to pay attention to even the small aspects of residents' daily lives to help establish a sharing culture."
