Sesaliving Cooling Bedding 'Ice Touch'
Surface Temperature Drops by 7.8℃ Upon Skin Contact
Rapidly Absorbs and Releases Body Heat Due to High Thermal Conductivity
In the ongoing heatwave, the cooling bedding from Welcron Sesaliving that I personally used provided an instant cool sensation the moment it touched my skin, and its excellent moisture absorption offered comfort throughout sleep.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] As the heatwave and intermittent showers continue day after day, demand for functional bedding with good moisture absorption, along with appliances such as dehumidifiers, is increasing.
According to the industry on the 18th, various cooling bedding products are being released mainly by bedding companies in response to the sweltering heat and humid weather. Feeling the limitations of air conditioners and dehumidifiers alone, I personally used Welcron Sesaliving's cooling bedding for a month.
Cooling bedding provides an instant cool sensation the moment it touches the skin and has excellent moisture absorption, offering comfort during sleep even in the recent hot and humid weather.
Sesaliving's cooling bedding "Ice Touch" consists of an air mesh mat, pillow, and body pillow. Compared to the rayon mat previously used, the air mesh mat provided a cooling effect along with a slight cushioning sensation. The bottom part is made with non-slip dots, helping stable sleep even in summer when tossing and turning due to the heat is frequent.
In particular, the cooling fabric made with a 3D soft air mesh structure absorbed and released body heat from the skin immediately upon lying down, maintaining a cool feeling continuously, which was impressive. Unlike the mesh-type bedding I used before, which had a somewhat stiff texture, this product stood out with softness and elasticity due to its triple-weave fabric.
The mesh filling was quilted, providing a slight cushioning effect. There were also occasional reviews that households living with pets often used it as a summer carpet substitute.

The pillow also featured a cooling fabric cover that quickly released heat from the neck and scalp upon resting, providing a cool sensation. Even when sweaty skin touched it due to the hot weather, softness and smoothness were maintained. Thanks to its excellent moisture absorption, a cold feeling persisted instead of the damp sensation usually experienced with regular bedding.
According to Welcron, in a thermal imaging camera experiment measuring the thermal conductivity of Ice bedding, Sesaliving's Ice bedding lowered the skin surface temperature by 7.8℃ immediately after the fabric touched the skin. An effect of the surface temperature dropping by 5℃ was also confirmed three minutes after removing the hand from the fabric.
The cooling fabric used in this product utilizes HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and is a material developed with proprietary technology, Welcron explained.
In these days of heatwaves and tropical nights, described as "weather where mangoes and bananas live," cooling bedding is expected to be a good alternative that can protect both health and electricity bills during sleep time exposed to air conditioning sickness, headaches, and chills caused by frequent air conditioner use.
