According to the Gimcheon Sangmu football team on the 17th, the Korea Football Association recently selected player Park Jisoo as a replacement following the exclusion of Kim Min-jae from the Tokyo Olympics football team roster announced on June 30.

Park Jisoo expressed his feelings on being selected, saying, "I want to show that Park Jisoo is a player who has always performed well. To do that, I will work even harder to prove my worth."

Park Jisoo, who played for Suwon FC until just before his enlistment, has proven his value by being included in the national team twice this year, in March and June. In particular, during the '2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup Asian Qualifiers Second Round' held in June, he appeared in two matches, conceding only one goal.

After completing the national team call-up, Park Jisoo took a one-week rest and then enlisted at the Nonsan Army Training Center on June 21. After receiving basic military training for a week, he joined Gimcheon Sangmu on the 28th.

Meanwhile, the Tokyo Olympics football team, which includes Park Jisoo, will compete in the group stage against New Zealand on the 22nd, Romania on the 25th, and Honduras on the 28th.
