[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 16th that it will recruit 113 participants for the second half of the year vulnerable group job project until the 23rd.


The workers are scheduled to perform tasks such as living quarantine support, public facility management, and administrative work assistance at 56 workplaces, with 78 assigned to the public work project, 16 to the local community job project, and 19 to the Hope Work project.


The project period is about four months from August to November, and the eligibility criteria are Muan residents aged 18 to under 75, with a median income of 65% or less (120% or less for single-person households) and total household assets under 300 million KRW.


Those who wish to apply can visit the local town or township office with their ID card by the 23rd. For more details, refer to the announcement on the county website or contact the Muan County Office Future Growth Division.


After screening the eligibility of workers, the county plans to select candidates on August 5, conduct safety education by workplace, and assign them to their duties.


Governor Kim San said, “I hope this job project will help stabilize the lives of residents who are struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will continue to implement various job projects to promote the revitalization of the local economy.”
