[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver Z announced on the 16th that its metaverse platform Zepeto has partnered with the global fashion company Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy (LVMH) Group to launch the Christian Dior makeup collection.
This partnership marks Zepeto's first expansion into the beauty sector. Peter Phillips, the Makeup Creative & Image Director, is known to have first requested the collaboration by providing exclusive sketches only for Zepeto.
The collection consists of a total of nine makeup sets designed specifically for Zepeto. Each makeup set is named Mod Girl (modern girl), Rainbow Liner, Cute999, Dior kiss, and others.
A Naver Z official said, "Zepeto is the world's largest virtual market where globally popular IPs (intellectual properties) are officially hosted," adding, "We will continue to pursue various collaborations to offer differentiated enjoyment to users."
Previously, Zepeto also collaborated with the fashion brand Gucci, allowing users to try on products directly within the platform.
