[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] The Supreme Court announced on the 16th that two employees of the Court Administration Office tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) while under self-quarantine.
They belong to the Ethics Audit Office and the Judicial Registration Bureau, respectively, and were classified as close contacts after having dinner with an employee who tested positive on the 11th.
Both tested negative in their initial tests but were confirmed positive in subsequent tests.
A Supreme Court official stated, "According to health authorities, since they did not enter the building or have contact with other employees after exposure to the initial confirmed case, no further epidemiological investigation is necessary."
