[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] The GS Construction consortium (GS Construction, Taeyoung Construction, Hanshin Engineering & Construction) will open the cyber model house for 'Sejong Xi The City,' located in Sejong City’s 6-3 Living Zone L1 Block, on the 16th and begin the sales schedule.
Sejong Xi The City will be a large-scale apartment complex consisting of 24 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors, with units sized between 84 and 154㎡P (exclusive area), totaling 1,350 households. It features a wide selection of 44 different unit types to broaden consumer choices. Notably, over 1,200 units, accounting for more than 89% of the total, are larger than 85㎡.
Sejong City allows nationwide subscription, and this complex is the first to be sold after the abolition of the special supply system for relocated institutions in Sejong City. Approximately 1,100 units will be offered for general sale, attracting significant interest not only from Sejong but also from prospective buyers nationwide.
Sejong Xi The City boasts excellent residential conditions with outstanding transportation, education, and natural environment. First, it offers a well-connected transportation network. Nearby is the Haemilli stop of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), providing easy access to Sejong-ro, an outer ring road, and Hannuri-daero, which crosses the Sejong Administrative City, allowing convenient travel within and outside Sejong City.
The educational environment is also favorable. An elementary school and kindergarten are planned right in front, and middle and high schools are within walking distance, making it an ideal environment for raising children. In particular, a campus-style high school integrating humanities, science, and arts is scheduled to be established nearby, further enhancing educational conditions.
Additionally, the surroundings include Sejong Field GC, Oganangteul Neighborhood Park, and Gippeumteul Neighborhood Park, providing abundant green spaces. Some units even offer views of Sejong Field GC.
Sejong Xi The City, selected through a design competition, will apply differentiated innovative designs throughout the complex’s interior and exterior to enhance residential comfort.
Especially, the complex will feature a dynamic and diverse fa?ade design to create a high-end community, and it plans to elevate residents’ quality of life by introducing premium landscaping and community facilities.
For landscaping, facilities such as the 'Central Garden' with water features, 'Xi Fun Ground,' a multipurpose space for the whole family, the high-end water feature 'Water Garden,' and the beautiful resting area 'Healing Garden' will be created to add leisure and comfort to residents’ lives.
Community facilities include two 'Sky Lounges' offering panoramic views of Sejong City’s urban landscape and nature, as well as 'Club Xi-an,' which comprises a golf practice range, screen golf, fitness center, G·X room, reading room, study room, small library, guest house, and indoor playground, aiming to make residents’ daily lives healthier and more vibrant.
Inside the units, various floor plans such as 4-bay 4-room, 5-bay 5-room, terrace layouts, basement attics, and duplex penthouses are introduced to expand consumer choices. Alpha/Beta spaces (in some units), master bedroom dressing rooms, entrance pantries, and corridor pantries maximize space utilization and storage capacity, drawing attention.
The sales schedule begins with special supply on the 27th, followed by first-priority subscription on the 28th and second-priority subscription on the 29th. Winners will be announced on the 4th of next month, and official contracts will be signed over seven days from the 16th to the 22nd of next month.
A GS Construction official stated, “As the first sales complex after the abolition of the special supply system for relocated institutions in Sejong City, demand is very high,” adding, “We will do our best to make this a landmark complex representing Sejong through well-planned product composition.”
The model house for Sejong Xi The City is located in Sejong Special Self-Governing City and will be operated as a cyber model house to comply with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines. Move-in for Sejong Xi The City is scheduled for July 2024.
