The new original entertainment program "Our Neighborhood Class" is about revitalizing neglected neighborhoods into trendy places that people want to visit. The "Hot Place Expedition Team," consisting of Lee Soo-geun, Kim Soo-ro, Lee Jin-ho, Lee Hye-sung, Na Tae-joo, Joel, and Minhyuk, visits forgotten villages to discover hidden food spots and attractions, documenting the process of creating local representative hot places. Experts such as architects and interior designers also appear as space design assistants to help highlight the unique characteristics of each area.
LG HelloVision plans to expand the role of local channels through "productive entertainment" that revitalizes neighborhoods. Beyond discovering hidden gems and restaurants in marginalized areas, they aim to transform these neighborhoods into beloved places by collaborating with residents on multi-dimensional solutions such as ▲hot place construction ▲SNS promotion ▲recruitment of experience groups, thereby contributing to urban regeneration and local economic revitalization.
Park Hyun-woo, head of LG HelloVision Content Production Center, said, "Through the 'neighborhood makeover' genre, which is being attempted for the first time on a local channel, we wanted to offer viewers a unique catharsis and create an opportunity to rediscover the value of local areas." "Our Neighborhood Class" can be watched every Friday at 5 PM and 9 PM on LG HelloVision local channel 25. It is also available on The Life channel ('U+tv' channel 39, 'HelloTV' channel 38, 'Btv' channel 67) as well as on U+tv and U+mobile TV VOD.
