T'way Air Opens Chuseok Domestic Flight Reservations... Increased 'Gimpo~Busan' Route Flights

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 14th that it will open reservations for domestic flights during the Chuseok holiday period.

T'way Air stated that starting from 10 a.m. on the 15th, reservations for domestic flights from September 17 to 22, the Chuseok holiday period, will be available through its website and mobile app (web).

In particular, anticipating increased travel on the Gimpo-Busan route, the airline has scheduled 16 round-trip temporary flights during this period to increase service frequency. Through this, more than 6,000 seats will be supplied, taking the lead in transporting passengers traveling to and from Seoul and Busan for the holiday.

To ensure the safe transportation of passengers amid the COVID-19 situation, T'way Air will continue thorough quarantine measures during check-in and boarding procedures.

T'way Air currently provides guidelines on quarantine rules that customers must follow during check-in, boarding, and in-flight on its website, and is strictly conducting boarding procedures on-site according to the quarantine manual.

During this Chuseok holiday period, T'way Air plans to operate a total of 110,000 seats to facilitate convenient travel for customers visiting their hometowns and traveling. The boarding routes include a total of eight routes: ▲Gimpo-Jeju ▲Busan-Jeju ▲Daegu-Jeju ▲Cheongju-Jeju ▲Gwangju-Jeju ▲Gimpo-Busan ▲Busan-Yangyang ▲Gwangju-Yangyang.

In particular, T'way Air offers the t’pet service for domestic passengers traveling with pets, allowing pets weighing up to 9 kg (including the transport container) to be brought into the cabin. The airline also provides unique services such as issuing dedicated boarding passes for pets and a t’pet exclusive stamp system.

A T'way Air official said, "We will provide safe flights by strictly adhering to quarantine rules for comfortable and safe travel to visit hometowns and relatives. Since this is a period when reservations are concentrated, quick booking is essential to use the desired date and time."
