Discussion on Management Plans for Operations and Intern Students

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Department of Nursing at Honam University (Department Head Eun-A Cho) recently announced on the 12th that it held a clinical practice institution meeting and evaluation session for the first semester of the 2021 academic year with the Nursing Department of Gwangju Christian Hospital.

The clinical practice institution meeting and evaluation session, held at the Nursing Education Office of Gwangju Christian Hospital, was attended by clinical practice course instructors for 3rd and 4th-year nursing students, the head of nursing at Gwangju Christian Hospital, the deputy director of nursing education, and department heads.

At the meeting, they discussed efficient clinical practice operation methods during the COVID-19 pandemic, management of practice students, and ways to improve the quality of practice education to enhance critical thinking and clinical performance skills.

They also agreed on maintaining industry-academia cooperation to continuously and progressively exchange between the university and clinical sites, aiming to improve the satisfaction of clinical practice students with their education and to enhance their adaptability in the field after graduation.
