Discussion on Current Issues Including the Executive Branch and Agenda Before the 106th Extraordinary Session
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Culture, Environment, and Urban Committee of Changwon City Council held a communication meeting with the executive branch on the 12th in preparation for the 106th Changwon City Council extraordinary session.
The communication meeting was organized to listen to explanations from the executive agency regarding the agenda items to be presented at the extraordinary session and to discuss key issues.
Among the agenda items for the 106th extraordinary session, prior reports were received from the relevant departments on the partial amendment ordinance for the installation and operation of the Changwon City Intangible Cultural Heritage Transmission Center and on opinions regarding the decision of Changwon Historical Park.
Park Chunduk, chairman of the Culture, Environment, and Urban Committee, stated, "The communication meeting was arranged to serve as a channel for smooth communication between the executive agency and council members," and urged continuous communication with the executive agency.
Meanwhile, the Culture, Environment, and Urban Committee is scheduled to review two ordinances and three opinion submissions referred to the committee during the 106th Changwon City Council extraordinary session, held from the 15th to the 22nd, and receive major work reports for the second half of this year from the departments under the committee’s jurisdiction.
