Fire at Logistics Warehouse in Downtown Gwangju... No Casualties Reported So Far

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] At around 6:57 AM on the 12th, a fire broke out at a logistics warehouse of a household goods distribution company in Usan-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

The fire department issued a Level 1 response and is conducting firefighting operations with about 200 personnel and 47 pieces of equipment mobilized together with related agencies.

So far, no casualties have been reported, and efforts are focused on containing the flames from spreading to adjacent buildings, including other storage warehouses and residential houses.

The fire department plans to investigate the cause and exact origin of the fire as soon as the firefighting is under control.
