[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 9th that it will operate six non-landing sightseeing flights this month.
The duty-free sightseeing flights this month will be operated at Incheon Airport on the 17th, 24th, and 31st; at Gimpo Airport on the 18th and 25th; and at Daegu Airport on the 31st. The aircraft will circle over Japanese airspace after takeoff and then return to the departure point, with a flight time of about 2 hours.
Duty-free sightseeing flight tickets can be purchased from 95,200 KRW total fare on the T'way Air website and mobile app. When booking, select one-way and set the departure and arrival locations to be the same.
For passengers boarding the duty-free sightseeing flights who can purchase duty-free products without leaving the country, T'way Air's in-flight duty-free shop offers up to 70% discounts on some items such as liquor and cosmetics when pre-ordering duty-free products. In-flight duty-free orders require online, email, or phone pre-reservation by midnight Thursday of the week of boarding.
Passengers who are Shinhan Tops Club members will receive discount coupons up to 100,000 KRW, and additional discounts are available when using Lotte Duty Free, Shilla Duty Free, and Shinsegae Duty Free.
