[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Ssangyong Motor announced on the 9th that it will conduct the '2021 Flood-Damaged Vehicle Special Maintenance Service' campaign for customers whose vehicles were damaged by natural disasters such as localized heavy rain during the monsoon season, typhoons, and guerrilla-style downpours.
Ssangyong Motor will operate flood-damaged vehicle service teams by region within its nationwide service network until October 31, and establish dedicated workshops to provide special maintenance services for flood-damaged vehicles. For vehicles without comprehensive insurance, a 40% discount will be applied to the total repair cost (including labor).
Additionally, if owners of flood-damaged vehicles purchase a replacement vehicle from Ssangyong Motor, discounts of KRW 300,000 will be offered for Tivoli & Air, Korando, and All New Rexton models, and KRW 200,000 for Rexton Sports & Khan models.
Furthermore, when a disaster or calamity area is declared, Ssangyong Motor will coordinate with local government offices in the affected areas to organize joint service teams at nearby AS networks, provide emergency dispatch and free inspections of flood-damaged vehicles, exchange consumable parts free of charge, and offer emergency start-up services if necessary.
Since 2001, Ssangyong Motor has continuously provided customer-centered vehicle inspection services, including pre-inspection services considering seasonal vehicle characteristics and free inspection services for island regions, to ensure safe vehicle operation for its customers.
