Establishment of the 'Jinsim Support Fund' System... Operation Starting Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taegwon), announced on the 9th that it will establish and operate the 'Sincerity Support Fund' system starting next month.
This system was created to convey the 'sincerity' of riders who, by receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, aim to protect not only their own health but also the health of stores and customers, as well as the trust between them, to Barogo's 65,000 store owners.
Starting next month, Barogo plans to select hubs with a high proportion of riders applying for vaccine support funds compared to the number of active riders (at least one delivery per month) at each hub, and provide support funds to stores contracted with those hubs. The support funds will be paid in 'Baromoney,' the store's virtual currency.
The selected hubs can be checked monthly from next month on 'Barogo Play,' the online community within the Barogo rider app, and the hub managers will separately notify the stores eligible for the support funds.
Since June, Barogo has been providing support funds to riders who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Any rider delivering through the Barogo program who has been vaccinated after June 1 of this year can apply for the support fund.
A Barogo official said, "We hope that all 32,000 Barogo riders will apply for the vaccine support fund," adding, "We hope that the sincerity of riders who get vaccinated to ensure the safety and trust of themselves, store owners, and customers will reach the store owners."
