[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Korea Management Technology Guidance Association (President Kim Oyeon, hereinafter referred to as the Guidance Association) announced on the 7th that it has launched an 'Export Business Group' to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners in overseas exports and to support the strengthening of global networks.


The Export Business Group includes a total of 17 expert committee members, including Export Director Nam Sangbong (Adjunct Professor at Dankook University, Management Consultant, and International Certified Management Consultant).


The Guidance Association helps domestic export companies discover overseas buyers and build networks. To ensure the sustainable growth of export companies, it plans to promote ▲ development of export-related policies ▲ development of export support consulting tools ▲ establishment of a database of overseas experts ▲ export cooperation projects with local companies.


Kim Oyeon, President of the Guidance Association, said, "We will provide export support consulting so that domestic SMEs and small business owners, who are experiencing management crises due to COVID-19, can gain competitiveness in the global market."


The Guidance Association was established in 1986 as a national knowledge service organization. It currently has 16,475 management consultants and technical consultants, 548 International Certified Management Consultants (CMC), and 19 branches. Through this Export Business Group, management and technical consultants as well as CMCs will demonstrate their capabilities in export business.
