Additional Confirmation of Illegally Filmed Sexual Intercourse Videos in Mobile Phone Photo Albums

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 30s who filmed guests having sex through the window of a lodging facility was arrested by the police.

Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 7th that they have arrested Kim Mo (34) on the spot on charges of filming using a camera and are currently investigating him.

According to the police, Kim is accused of climbing over a wall next to a lodging facility in Seodaemun-gu at 9:46 p.m. on the 6th, reaching his hand through a window gap, and filming a couple staying on the second floor having sex.

Police who responded to the report searched the area and chased and caught a man with a similar appearance who fled upon seeing the officers.

While checking Kim’s phone photo album, the police found several files recording sexual acts involving multiple unidentified men and women, and are investigating additional crimes.

A police official stated, "We are identifying the detailed circumstances of the crime."
