[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Andong City, Gyeongbuk, will hold an agreement ceremony at 2 p.m. on the 7th with local restaurants, coffee shops, the Women's Association Council, and the Sustainable Development Council to reduce the use of disposable products.
Attendees at the agreement ceremony include Joo-Hwal Jo, head of the Andong branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association; Wae-Ja Park, head of the Andong branch of the Korea Rest Stop Foodservice Association; Kyung-Hee Ryu, president of the Andong Women's Association Council; Byung-Sik Woo, president of the Andong Sustainable Development Council; Young-Jun Kwon, representative of Hyu, the employee lounge coffee shop at City Hall; Deok-Hyang Kwon, representative of the cafe next to City Hall; and Myung-Ok Kim, representative of Andong Cafe.
The agreement includes ▲using reusable containers for delivery ▲reducing the use of disposable cups and straws at coffee shops ▲offering a 500 won discount to customers who use personal cups.
